My name is Sarah, and I’m the writer, photographer, and creator of this site. I also personally manage 3 vacation rentals for owners who are family or friends of mine. All 3 are located on beautiful Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida.
Because I only manage three rentals, you get truly personalized attention from me before, during, and after your stay. That’s a big difference from booking through a large rental company that may be juggling hundreds or even thousands of properties.
When you stay at one of the rentals I manage, I’m always available to help with planning your trip and anything you might need while you’re here. My response time is always under an hour (usually much faster), and I truly care that you have an amazing time in Destin. If there’s something you need and it’s within my ability to help, I’ll always do my best to make it happen.

Daylight Condo at the Islander Resort with Pool and Hot Tub
Daylight is a ground-floor condo at the Islander Resort on Holiday Isle that sleeps up to six guests. From the back patio you can walk straight out to the private beach gate, with the resort’s pools and hot tubs just steps the other way — no stairs, no elevators, and parking right in front of the unit. The Islander offers private beach access, 2 pools and 2 hot tubs (one heated year-round), tennis and pickleball courts, and a fitness center. This condo was my dad’s home, and I refreshed it myself over the winter — it’s named for a Taylor Swift line: “Step into the daylight and let it go.”

Destin-ation Townhouse on Destin Harbor with Private Dock
Destin-ation is a 4-bedroom, harbor-front home in Destin that sleeps up to 8 guests, with water views from the living room and a sandy backyard right on Destin Harbor — looking straight across the water to Marina Café and Boshamps, with HarborWalk Village just to the left and fireworks lighting up the sky over the harbor in season. There’s 15 feet of dock space for a small boat or jet ski, water taxi pickup right at the dock, and beach chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon for guest use. It’s a short walk to O’Steen Beach, the jetties, and the newly updated Norriego Point Park and about 0.75 miles to the private Holiday Isle beach gate for Gulf access.

Pelicamp Condo on Destin Harbor with Pool
Pelicamp is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom corner condo at Dolphin Point in Destin, Florida, and it comfortably sleeps up to six guests. It’s located in a gated community on Holiday Isle, just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
The private, gated beach access is reserved exclusively for Holiday Isle owners and their guests, which helps keep this stretch of beach quieter and less crowded.
The Dolphin Point complex features a newly updated heated pool area, tennis and pickleball courts, and a kayak and paddleboard launch on the harbor (bring your own equipment; rentals are not available on site). There is also water taxi pickup spot steps from the unit, making it easy to get to Destin Harbor without worrying about parking.

Boston couple mid 60s looking for Oct 5-12 for 65 B-day and our anniversary.
Most likely just the two of us but have friends in Fairhope, AL . Not sure yet
whether we will drive to them for2-3 days or they drive to us. If any property
is 2 bed, we’d consider that for full week in hopes they can stay . If we GO
to them we might just hotel for ourselves start and end of week and not
have a place for the nights we stay with them. We highly prefer properties
over hotel and with off-season maybe price and comfort make sense. Happy

Hi Dalicia, winter here is slower as far as activities. There are a lot of Christmas lights and the sunsets over the water are beautiful that time of year. The beaches are quiet so it’s a nice time for walking. Both my units have heated pools, so you can swim that time of year.
