Looking for the best place to sing karaoke in Destin, Miramar Beach and Okaloosa Island?

If you’re here on vacation, this might be the perfect time to try karaoke, especially if you’re new or a little nervous. There’s something freeing about singing in front of a crowd you’ll probably never see again.
I went most of my life without ever trying karaoke. I don’t consider myself a great singer, and the thought of standing on stage with a microphone while everyone watched was terrifying. But after spending time at a few karaoke nights, I realized something important: you’re not supposed to be amazing. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s to have fun.
I finally sang karaoke for the first time on a cruise in April 2022. My niece stood up there with me because I was so nervous, and while I’m fairly certain it wasn’t my finest performance, I had a great time. What I learned is that no one at karaoke really cares if you’re good or bad. In fact, the crowd usually responds best to someone who loves their song and commits to it. If people wanted a flawless performance, they’d buy tickets to a concert.

After that, I started looking for local karaoke spots around Destin, Miramar Beach, and Okaloosa Island so I could keep going. At first, it was harder than I expected to track down reliable information, especially since karaoke nights can change throughout the year.
Now I’ve found several great spots. Depending on the season, there’s often karaoke happening almost every night of the week somewhere between Destin, Okaloosa Island, and Miramar Beach. In this post, I’ll share the best places to check, along with a few additional options in nearby Fort Walton Beach and Grayton Beach.
In this post, I’m listing the spots that tend to host karaoke regularly, but definitely double-check before you go. Karaoke schedules can shift depending on the season, crowd attendance, weather, special events, or even last-minute changes by the venue or host. I’ll point you in the right direction, but a quick look at each place’s Facebook page or website will give you the most up-to-date info.
Kenny D’s Beach Bar
- Days: Wednesdays year-round
- Time: 7-10pm March – October | 5-8pm November – February
- Address: 2964 Scenic Gulf Dr ~ Miramar Beach, FL 32550

Kenny D’s Beach Bar in Miramar Beach typically hosts karaoke year-round on Wednesday nights, sometimes adding Sunday nights during the summer season. As with most karaoke spots around here, schedules can shift, so it’s always smart to double-check before heading out.
Kenny D’s karaoke nights are wildly popular with both locals and visitors. Families, spring breakers, snowbirds, and everyone in between show up ready to sing. It has a loyal following for a reason. It’s a fun, high-energy atmosphere where people really get into it.
Expect it to be busy year-round, especially in the summer when the crowd often spills beyond the small beach bar and into the surrounding areas. If you want a table outside, arrive early. Even in the winter, seats can be hard to grab. There are usually extra chairs and bar stools scattered around, plus plenty of standing room.
Karaoke at Kenny D’s takes place outside all year, so keep the weather in mind. It can get chilly in the winter and on some spring evenings, and there are no heat lamps. Being that close to the water can also mean extra wind, so dress accordingly.

Service can slow down on packed nights. If it’s too busy to get a server outside, there’s a takeout counter for food. One thing I’ll mention, because it’s been a point of frustration for me in the past, is that the bar can get very backed up on karaoke nights and it can take a long time to get a drink. If you’re already nervous about getting up to sing, standing in a long bar line doesn’t exactly calm the nerves.
That said, they’ve been better in recent seasons about opening an additional outdoor bar during the busy summer months, which has helped a lot. Hopefully this continues, but just a warning to not delay going to get your drink when you arrive.
Kenny D’s karaoke is family-friendly, making it one of the few spots on this list where you’ll regularly see kids take the stage. It’s a great choice if you want a lively but welcoming environment.
Parking is limited and can be challenging. Many people walk, bike, or arrive by golf cart from nearby vacation rentals or Uber/Lyft. If you’re driving, plan to arrive early to secure a spot.
Karaoke at Kenny D’s is hosted by Maddie’s Karaoke & DJ Service, run by the husband-and-wife team Steven and Angie Madden. For the most current updates, you can check Maddies Facebook Page .
Harry T’s at Harborwalk Village
- Days: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays seasonally
- Time: 9pm-midnight
- Address: 46 Harbor Blvd ~ Destin, FL 32541

Harry T’s at Harborwalk Village is one of the best places to sing karaoke in Destin. They dedicate the entire upstairs area to the show, which is part of what makes it such a great venue. It’s a large room with its own bar and plenty of tables, and you can see the stage clearly from almost anywhere in the space.
They offer food service upstairs from a limited menu, but there’s also a full restaurant downstairs if you’d rather start there first. The upstairs space is open-air, which gives it a fun harbor vibe, and when the weather turns chilly, heat lamps from the ceiling help keep things comfortable.
Parking at Harborwalk Village is currently $20. There’s also a City of Destin lot across the street on Zerbe Street that charges $15, but it’s a bit of a longer walk to the village from there.
If you do decide to park at Harborwalk, here’s my tip: enter the Emerald Grande parking garage and drive all the way down to the bottom level. Follow the signs for the Harborwalk Village entrance at the lowest level of the garage. That exit puts you right out onto the lower level of Harborwalk, very close to Harry T’s. It’s much more convenient than parking in the open Harborwalk lot and walking all the way down into the village.
Harry T’s sometimes offers a parking discount for locals or for guests dining there, so it’s worth asking directly about current details and requirements when you arrive.
If you are staying anywhere near Destin Harbor or on Holiday Isle, consider taking the Destin Water Taxi to Harborwalk Village and skipping the traffic and parking. I wrote a post here with all the water taxi information: Destin Water Taxi: The best way to travel the harbor
Fubar on Okaloosa Island
- Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
- Time: 9pm-1am
- Address: 114 Amberjack Dr ~Okaloosa Island, FL 32548

Fubar is a waterfront pizza and sports bar tucked away on the sound side of Okaloosa Island. It’s one of the more consistent karaoke spots in the area, with regular year-round shows and a loyal crowd that keeps it lively.
Karaoke at Fubar takes place outside under the covered patio deck, set up in a corner near the bar. There’s usually a solid crowd and no shortage of singers, especially on peak nights.
Saturday start time varies during football season depending on game schedules. If there’s a big game on, karaoke may begin later than usual, so it’s always a good idea to double-check before heading out or just be prepared to wait.
One thing that makes Fubar feel different from some of the Destin and Miramar Beach spots is the crowd. While those areas often draw more visitors, Fubar tends to have a strong base of local regulars. It gives the night a fun, familiar energy, and newcomers are usually welcomed right in.
One important note: Fubar is 21 and up after 10:00 pm. If you have kids who want to sing, plan to arrive right when karaoke starts so they have time to get on the list before the age restriction kicks in. It’s definitely more of a late-night, adult bar scene once 10:00 rolls around.
Fubar offers both indoor and outdoor dining, along with a large bar area. The menu includes pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and more, so it’s easy to turn karaoke night into dinner and a show.
For the most current schedule, menus, and event updates, check the Fubar on Okaloosa Island website before you go.: Fubar on Okaloosa Island website
American Legion Post 296 in Destin
- Days: Fridays
- Time: 7-11pm
- Address: 311 Main Street ~ Destin, FL 32541

I recently discovered karaoke at the American Legion in Destin and decided to stop in and see what it was like. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most surprisingly fun karaoke nights I’ve been to.
Karaoke at American Legion Post 296 takes place on Friday nights year-round. The atmosphere is darker and more low-key, with that classic dive-bar feel that somehow makes karaoke even better. Most of the crowd seems to be locals and regulars, but I found everyone to be friendly and welcoming.
The bar is open to the public on karaoke nights, even if you’re not military, though you may need to sign in when you arrive.
It’s the kind of place you might drive past without realizing what’s happening inside, and I probably never would have known about it if someone hadn’t mentioned it to me. I’m glad they did. For the most up-to-date information, check the American Legion Post 296 Facebook page before you go.
Island Wing Company in Destin
- Days: Fridays in Spring and Summer
- Time: 7-10pm
- Address: 981 Palm Street, US-98, Destin, FL 32541

Island Wing Company in Destin is a popular sports bar and grill known for its laid-back vibe, wide drink selection, big screens, and comfort-food menu — making it a great spot to hang out before (or after) karaoke.
In past seasons, Island Wing Company has hosted karaoke on Friday nights in spring and summer, sometimes even adding a Monday night show as well. While they haven’t announced the 2026 schedule yet, it’s definitely a place worth checking if you’re in town — and I’ll update this post when I hear their confirmed karaoke plans.
If you’re planning to go, another fun bonus is that Island Wing Company often has happy hour from 3:00–6:00 pm with half-off drinks and food specials, so you can grab dinner or a drink before the karaoke fun begins.
This spot tends to draw a smaller, more relaxed singing crowd compared with some of the busier karaoke nights in town, so it can be a good option if you want to ease into singing karaoke without a huge crowd. Of course, some people find big audiences more encouraging — it’s all about what feels right for you that night.
For the most current updates on karaoke nights here, check the Island Wing Company Facebook page before you head over.
AJ’s Oyster Shanty on Okaloosa Island
- Days: Wednesdays year round
- Time: 6-9pm (hours vary)
- Address: 108 Santa Rosa Blvd ~ Okaloosa Island, FL 32548

AJ’s Oyster Shanty on Okaloosa Island is another fun and reliable karaoke spot, typically hosting karaoke on Wednesday nights year-round. It’s the smallest of the AJ’s locations, but that actually works in its favor. The space feels intimate and energetic, which makes it a great setting for karaoke.
Karaoke takes place outside all year, and during the colder months they use heat lamps to keep things comfortable. I’ve seen the start time shift a bit depending on the season, so it’s always a good idea to check the AJ’s Oyster Shanty Facebook page for the most up-to-date information before heading over.
If you’re in the mood for an extra-long karaoke night, some regulars start at AJ’s early in the evening and then head a few blocks down to Fubar once it wraps up, keeping the singing going until 1:00 am. It’s a solid game plan if you’ve got the stamina.
CJ’s Hangout Sports Bar
- Days: Sundays in Spring and Summer
- Time: 6pm
- Address: 385 Harbor Blvd, Suite 102, Destin, FL 32541
CJ’s Hangout in Destin is a popular, full-service sports bar with a strong local following and a laid-back vibe. Known for its pizza, smash burgers, wings, salads, and wide draft beer selection, CJ’s is the kind of place both locals and visitors love to hang out — whether you’re there for a game, dinner, or a night out.

Last year, CJ’s hosted karaoke on Sunday nights in spring and summer, and lots of people showed up for a fun night of singing, drinks, and good energy. I can’t confirm the exact 2026 schedule yet, but check on their socials or call ahead to see if it’s happening when you’re in town.
Karaoke here fits that “fun and casual” crowd — not too intimidating, and it’s right in the heart of Destin. Since CJ’s features TVs, live music some evenings, and a lively bar atmosphere, it’s an easy spot to stay at for dinner and drinks before karaoke kicks off.
Auston’s on 98 in Miramar Beach
- Days: Saturdays year round
- Time: 7pm
- Address: 125 Poinciana Blvd, Miramar Beach, FL 32550

Auston’s on 98 is one of those places that both locals and visitors genuinely love. It has a fun, high-energy sports bar atmosphere with plenty of TVs, a full bar, and a crowd that’s usually ready to stay awhile. It’s the kind of spot where you can show up in beach clothes or come out for a Saturday night and feel equally at home.
Auston’s hosts karaoke on Saturday nights at 7:00 pm year-round, which makes it one of the more dependable weekend karaoke options in the Destin area. Saturday nights tend to draw a lively mix of regulars and vacationers, so expect a good crowd and a supportive audience.
Because it’s a popular weekend hangout, it can get busy, especially during peak season. If you want to sing, it’s a good idea to get there early, grab a drink, and put your name in before the list fills up.
As always, schedules and special events can affect timing, so check Auston’s on 98 Facebook page before heading out to confirm details for that week.
Karaoke Cruise on Destin Harbor

Happy Life Cruises, which is the riverboat dinner/cruise company you’ve probably seen around HarborWalk, now has a Karaoke on the Water night as part of their weekly lineup. It’s set up as a cruise where a DJ and entertainment crew bring a karaoke setup out on the top deck, so you can grab the mic and sing with views of the water and harbor around you.
I haven’t had a chance to check it out myself yet, but it sounds like a laid-back, sunset-to-evening sort of thing where people can show up, pick songs from a big library, and sing while cruising past the waterfront. People seem to enjoy it as a different kind of night out — it’s not just a typical bar karaoke night because you’re on the boat and you’ve got the water and the views in the background. I haven’t done it yet, but I’m curious about it and may check it out this summer.
Other Karaoke Spots in the Area
Now that we have covered all the best spots for karaoke in Destin, Miramar Beach, and Okaloosa Island, let’s talk about a few others located nearby in Fort Walton Beach (over the bridge going west from Okaloosa Island) and Grayton Beach on Highway 30a.
Soundside Waterfront Bar in Fort Walton Beach

Soundside Waterfront Bar is a newer waterfront hangout in Fort Walton Beach that’s quickly become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Located right on the water at 189 Brooks Street SE, it offers relaxed outdoor seating, waterfront views, a fully stocked bar, and a fun atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual night out or special event.
This spot hosts karaoke every Thursday night from about 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm year-round, making it a great midweek option if you’re in town and want something lively without the weekend crowd. The space is known for its frequent events, live music, and gatherings that lean into that laid-back coastal vibe, so karaoke feels like just one more fun part of the scene.
If you’re looking for a Thursday night with a waterfront backdrop, good drinks, and a lively crowd, Soundside Waterfront Bar is worth a look.
AJ’s on the Bayou in Fort Walton Beach

AJ’s on the Bayou in Fort Walton Beach hosts karaoke on Tuesday nights year-round, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Karaoke here takes place outdoors on a real stage overlooking the water, which makes it a pretty unique setting. With the bay views behind you and a full audience in front, it’s a fun spot to sing and one of the more scenic karaoke venues in the area. Check the AJ’s on the Bayou Facebook page for updates.
The Block in Fort Walton Beach

The Block in Fort Walton Beach is a bar/nightclub with 3 bars under one roof. They hold karaoke in their Sports and Karaoke bar 5 nights a week from 6pm-2am on Wednesday and Thursday, 6pm-4am on Friday and Saturday, and 8pm-2am on Sunday.
Check the Block website for more info
I hope this post helps you find the best spot to sing karaoke in Destin, Miramar Beach and Okaloosa Island.
