I’m Sarah Noonan, the person behind The Good Life Destin. I live in Destin, where my work has grown from sharing photos and visitor tips into short-term rentals, Destin books and prints, and helping people enjoy their time here.

From flower shops to Destin
Before moving to Destin, I spent many years in the floral business in Pensacola. I managed flower shops and eventually opened my own, which I ran from 2008 to 2015. Flowers are still a big part of what I love, and that chapter of my life is one of the reasons I’m drawn to flower festivals when I travel.

After moving to Destin, I started over in a new place and took hospitality jobs while figuring out what might come next. I picked up photography as a hobby and started sharing the pictures and local tips I was collecting. When people told me those posts helped them plan a visit, The Good Life Destin began to take shape.
How my work has grown
The Good Life Destin started as a way to share what I was learning about this area. Over time, my work has grown to include short-term rentals and vacation-home hosting. I love creating welcoming places for guests and helping them feel at home while they’re here.
Photography and sharing Destin are still part of my work, but I no longer offer photography services for hire. These days, I focus on my rentals, my website and social media, and the books and products I create for people who love Destin. In the off season I do a little bit of other work I love, such as building wooden planters to sell and flowers for beach weddings.

Destin books, prints and more
I create Destin-inspired prints, a guest book for vacation rentals, a hardcover journal, a Destin coloring book, and a Destin guidebook. You can find them in my online shop.
A few things I love
When I’m not working, I love to travel—and I still love snowboarding. I’m especially drawn to charming small towns, trips around Michigan and New England, and flower festivals wherever I can find them.

Thanks for being here. I hope The Good Life Destin helps you discover the area, plan a visit, or find a little inspiration for your own travels.
