Where are the Fireworks in Destin, Okaloosa Island, & Miramar Beach?

Seeking the perfect spot to experience the dazzling fireworks displays in Destin, Okaloosa Island, Miramar Beach, and beyond? The Destin region boasts some of Florida’s most stunning pyrotechnic spectacles, ensuring an abundance of mesmerizing shows that light up the night sky.

Fireworks on Destin Harbor

The harbor show is the classic Destin fireworks night. The fireworks are set off from a barge in the East Pass, with HarborWalk Village all lit up and boats gathered on the water to watch. It is the liveliest of the three shows, with the most places to see it from — the docks, the harbor boardwalk, and even the beach across the pass. Fireworks at Baytowne Wharf

Over in Miramar Beach, Baytowne Wharf turns fireworks night into a little festival — the village is all lit up, there is live music and activities in the events plaza, and the show is set off from the walkways by the marina. Fireworks at the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk

The Boardwalk show is the most laid-back and beachy of the three. The fireworks launch from the end of the fishing pier, so you can watch with your toes in the sand, from the pier itself, or from a beach-facing restaurant patio. July 4th Fireworks

Independence Day is the biggest fireworks night of the year around here — all three shows go big, and there are extra displays, bigger crowds, and traffic to plan around. I keep everything Fourth of July in one place: July 4th Fireworks in Destin.
