Fireworks at the Sandestin Hilton
Sandestin Hilton Fireworks Shows:
- ★ Memorial Day Weekend
- ★ 4th of July
The Sandestin Hilton has a few fireworks shows a year set off right on the beach directly in from of their hotel. The fireworks can be seen from anywhere along the surrounding beach areas as well as from their pool deck and beachfront restaurants.
Technically this show is for Hilton guests, but anyone can see it if they are near the beach there. If you are not staying at the Hilton, you can go there to eat at a restaurant to have access to the fireworks show. This is the only show in the Destin area set off directly on the beach and it’s a great one!

You can also eat at the Beach House Restaurant at Sandestin and see them from there. I have also walked along the sand from the public beach at Geronimo Beach access in Miramar Beach, but that’s a decent distance of almost 2 miles.
Fireworks at the Fort Walton Beach Landing Park
Fort Walton Beach Landing Fireworks Shows:
- ★ 4th of July
- ★ Billy Bowlegs Festival

The Landing Park in Fort Walton Beach is a great spot to see Fireworks although they have limited shows throughout the year.
There is not a dedicated website for the Landing events but more information can usually be found listed on the Fort Walton Beach Chamber website.

Destin Commons has a few fireworks shows throughout the year. The Destin Commons Fireworks are set off from the roof of a parking garage so you can see them from anywhere among the shops and restaurants in the Commons.
The Smoke on the Coast Fireworks shows is particularly spectacular. You don’t need an event ticket to watch the fireworks show there. Don’t miss it!

I need some help please. I paid for the pirate/firework/dolphin cruise for Dec 11 & I can’t find a confirmation email about it now. What should I do? Is there a way you can help me?
I’m sorry I saw this a bit late and I hope you were able to locate them. I am not affiliated with them but their phone number is 850-269-0896, I hope you found it and were able to enjoy the cruise!
Hi Sarah! Great blog! The first photo featured is from the Tripp Tide Bar at The Island Resort, not Okaloosa Island. Can you notate that under the photo? Also can you add The Island Resort Fireworks? They put on that exact same show every Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m. starting May 29th through August 7th! Thank you!
The Island Resort is on Okaloosa Island. The fireworks seen from Tripp Tide are the Boardwalk Okaloosa Island pier fireworks. They are not put on by the Island Resort. So I don’t see the inaccuracy.
