One of the best places to watch the Destin Harbor fireworks is from Norriego Point. Norriego Point is a public beach area located on Holiday Isle at the end of Gulf Shore Drive.

This post will provide some photos of the fireworks view from the beach at Norriego Point and also give you detailed information and a map of exactly how to get to this spot.

Not many people know about this excellent viewing spot so it is rarely crowded. For this particular shoot, my friend and I were the only people out there and had the entire beach and this amazing fireworks view all to ourselves.

How to get to Norriego Point

Norriego Point is at the end of Gulf Shore Drive in the Destin Harbor area. Gulf Shore Drive will dead end into a small parking lot and you can walk out from there.

In the map below I circled the parking lot in red. The spot where I took the pictures from is marked with a red star and the fireworks boat location is marked with a blue star.

Norriego Point has two sides to it. In order to see the fireworks, you need to be on the west side. So, from the parking lot, you will walk to the left.

Be prepared for a bit of a walk through the sand depending on how far out you decide to go. Be sure to bring a blanket and drinks to relax and enjoy the view.

When to See the Destin Harbor Fireworks

Destin Harbor will have a fireworks show every Thursday during the summer.

Other times of the year when you can expect to see them on Destin Harbor:

• July 4th
• Cinco de Mayo
• Labor Day Weekend
• Destin Seafood Festival
• Ending the Destin Fishing Rodeo (Halloween)
• Destin Lighted Boat Parade
• New Years Eve
