2023 Photo Journal Series Description:
Welcome to my series of quarterly photo books. Each one contains 50+ premium color pages filled with my Emerald Coast photography, along with dates, captions, and sometimes stories behind the photos. (Please note the cover 1mage for 2023 Q1 might change because I’m not finished taking photos for that time frame yet. I chose that image as a placeholder. Product Pictures are examples from 2022 because I don’t have the 2023 magazines printed yet).

These books are a way to organize and share my photos rather than letting them be forgotten on digital hard drives or buried on my social media feed. The print format is a more visually appealing way to view photos than a phone screen, while the series format keeps it current and informative. It is also meant to be a way to collect and remember some of Destin’s history and stories of the people who live, work and visit here.
The type of photos in each issue will vary as far as topics, since I shoot different things at different times of the year. In spring and summer, my photos consist more of Destin Harbor, fishing boats, fireworks, and events since summer is so full of those things. In the fall and winter it’s more beaches, sunsets and sunrises since the beach is less crowded and the sun is over the Gulf of Mexico water again. Sometimes people will be in the photos and sometimes it will just be scenery. I take pictures almost every day with my professional camera and the best of those will be featured in these pages.
I include stories and information about Destin companies and fishing/excursion boats if they appear in my photos but no one has paid to appear in these pages. This publication has NO ADS and is just a collection of the pictures I took during that time frame and my thoughts and details about them.
